Venice
Bridge Scene
This painting is of one of the more famous bridges in Venice. It caught
my attention as the metalwork on the bridge has such solid yet flowing
lines. In the same way the buildings are mirrored in the water below – reducing
solid structures to uneven and unfocused reflections on the water surface.
This painting is more of a comparison of hard to soft, reality to illusion.

Painting won "Best Oil" in 2004 juried show at the R.L. Foster Gallery
